Tarpon Springs, Florida, is the “Sponge Capital of the World” and Jeff and Steph made the drive (a little under an hour from Madeira Beach) to go explore the sponge market and Greek culture. This region supplies about 70% of the world’s natural sea sponges. From sponges to Greek food, the area is filled with tons of shops, boat tours, and – of course – natural sea sponges.
