We Finally Leave the Dock! (E16)

Our First Anchorage on Our Marlow Motor Yacht

Living aboard a motor yacht means every departure starts long before the lines are untied—and this week, we finally make it happen!

After completing a long list of essential boat projects, it’s time to leave the dock and begin our next adventure aboard our Marlow motor yacht.

In this episode:
⚓ We scout out new anchorage spots
🛒 Provision enough food and supplies for nearly 3 weeks at anchor
🔧 Jeff rewires the chiller system
🚤 Finally pull away from the marina and head into the Gulf
🧭 Calibrate our autopilot underway
🌅 Return to John’s Pass to anchor near our former home and enjoy our first night back on the hook

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of casting off after weeks of preparation. Whether you’re dreaming of the liveaboard lifestyle, love cruising on motor yachts, or simply enjoy boating adventures, we hope you’ll come along for the journey.
