Two Months Living on a Boat (E19)

Marlow 70E Liveaboard Life

What is it really like living on a boat full time? In this episode, Jeff and Steph settle into regular liveaboard life aboard their Marlow 70E motor yacht while spending some time at Madeira Beach Marina for scheduled engine maintenance, repairs, and a long list of boat projects.

While the team at Ring Power takes care of scheduled engine maintenance and repairs, we use our time at the dock to tackle some projects of our own — including cleaning and repairing the anchor chain locker, servicing the anchor chain, improving ice maker ventilation, upgrading LED lighting in the VIP cabin, and provisioning the boat.

Living aboard a motor yacht isn’t always cruising and relaxing. There’s a lot of maintenance, organization, repairs, and preparation that goes into keeping a liveaboard boat running smoothly. This episode gives you a look at what everyday boat life is really like when you’re living full time aboard a Marlow 70E.
